• Carry a valid government photo ID for hotel check-ins and travel verification.
• North East Road journeys involve long drives, hilly terrain, and winding mountain roads, so travellers prone to motion sickness should carry necessary medication.
• Meghalaya weather can change quickly, so carrying a light raincoat/umbrella, comfortable clothing, and sturdy walking shoes is highly recommended.
• Some attractions like waterfalls, caves, and viewpoints may require walking on uneven surfaces, stairs, or slippery paths, especially during monsoon.
• Boating at Dawki’s Umngot River and adventure activities like ziplining are subject to weather conditions and operational availability.
• Water levels and river clarity at Dawki may vary depending on season and rainfall.
• Temple visits, especially Kamakhya Temple, may involve queues and modest clothing is recommended.
• During weekends, holidays, or festival periods, sightseeing attractions may experience heavy tourist rush.
• Mobile network connectivity may be inconsistent in some remote areas.
• Carry sufficient cash for local shopping, boating, entry tickets, cafés, and personal expenses, as digital payments may not be available everywhere.
• Monsoon season may occasionally lead to road delays, slippery routes, or temporary sightseeing restrictions.
• Personal travel insurance is recommended for added safety and convenience.
• Anything not specifically mentioned in the inclusions will be considered excluded.

💯 If you choose to cancel your booking before confirmation, a full refund will be processed

✅ A confirmation voucher will be sent to your registered email within 24 hours of successful booking

🔄 In case your preferred slots are unavailable, we will offer alternate options based on your preference, and a revised confirmation voucher will be shared

Cancellation charges will apply based on the time of cancellation prior to the trip start date:

More than 45 days before travel:
Cancellation Fee: 10% of total booking amount

45 to 30 days before travel:
Cancellation Fee: 25% of total booking amount

30 to 15 days before travel:
Cancellation Fee: 50% of total booking amount

Less than 15 days before travel / No Show:
Cancellation Fee: 100% of total booking amount

Payment Policy

100.0% of total tour cost will have to be paid 0 days before the date of booking

Refund Policy

• Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 7–10 working days from the date of cancellation
• The refund amount will be credited to the original mode of payment
• Any payment gateway charges / transaction fees may be deducted

🌧️ Force Majeure

SparkMyTrip shall not be held liable for cancellations or changes due to events beyond control, including but not limited to:

• Natural disasters (floods, landslides, earthquakes)
• Political unrest or strikes
• Government restrictions or regulations

In such cases, refunds will be processed as per Government / supplier policies.
