Know Before You Go

• To ensure a safe, comfortable, and unforgettable Ladakh adventure, please keep these important travel tips in mind before your journey:
• 🪪 Valid government-issued photo ID is mandatory for all travellers during booking, hotel check-in, airport transfers, and permit processing.
• 🏔️ Ladakh is a high-altitude destination (11,000 ft+), so acclimatization is extremely important. It is strongly recommended to rest for the first 24 hours after arriving in Leh to avoid altitude sickness.
• 🩺 Travelers may experience symptoms like headache, dizziness, breathlessness, nausea, or fatigue due to high altitude. Please consult your doctor before travel if you have respiratory, heart, or medical conditions.
• 💊 Carry essential medicines, a personal first-aid kit, and altitude sickness medication (only as advised by your doctor).
• 🧥 Weather in Ladakh can change suddenly, and temperatures drop sharply after sunset—even during summer. Carry warm layers, thermals, jackets, gloves, woollens, sunglasses, sunscreen (SPF 50+), moisturizer, and lip balm.
• 🚫 Alcohol consumption and heavy physical activity should be avoided during the initial acclimatization period.
• 📶 Mobile connectivity is limited in many regions. Postpaid connections (especially BSNL, Jio, Airtel) generally work better than prepaid SIM cards from other states.
• 🚗 Road journeys in Ladakh can be long, rough, and weather-dependent due to mountain terrain. Flexible timing and patience are recommended.
• 🛂 Inner Line Permits are mandatory for visiting certain regions like Nubra Valley, Pangong Lake, and other protected areas (included if mentioned in your package).
• 🐪 Adventure activities like ATV rides, camel rides, rafting, biking, and other optional experiences are chargeable extra unless specifically included.
• 🍽️ Food options in remote regions like Nubra and Pangong may be limited compared to city standards due to the location and weather conditions.
• 💧 Stay hydrated throughout the trip to help your body adjust to the altitude. Avoid dehydration.
• ⚡ Electricity and hot water availability in remote camps / villages may be limited or scheduled.
• 🌊 Pangong and Nubra are remote high-altitude regions with basic facilities compared to Leh hotels.
• 📸 Images shown are for representation purposes only. Actual views, camp setups, hotel interiors, and weather conditions may vary.
• 🌨️ In case of snowfall, road closures, military restrictions, weather disruptions, or natural conditions, itinerary changes may be required for safety reasons.

💯 If you choose to cancel your booking before confirmation, a full refund will be processed

✅ A confirmation voucher will be sent to your registered email within 24 hours of successful booking

🔄 In case your preferred slots are unavailable, we will offer alternate options based on your preference, and a revised confirmation voucher will be shared

Cancellation charges will apply based on the time of cancellation prior to the trip start date:

More than 45 days before travel:
Cancellation Fee: 10% of total booking amount

45 to 30 days before travel:
Cancellation Fee: 25% of total booking amount

30 to 15 days before travel:
Cancellation Fee: 50% of total booking amount

Less than 15 days before travel / No Show:
Cancellation Fee: 100% of total booking amount

Payment Policy

100.0% of total tour cost will have to be paid 0 days before the date of booking

Refund Policy

• Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 7–10 working days from the date of cancellation
• The refund amount will be credited to the original mode of payment
• Any payment gateway charges / transaction fees may be deducted

🌧️ Force Majeure

SparkMyTrip shall not be held liable for cancellations or changes due to events beyond control, including but not limited to:

• Natural disasters (floods, landslides, earthquakes)
• Political unrest or strikes
• Government restrictions or regulations

In such cases, refunds will be processed as per Government / supplier policies.

• Certain bookings (like flights, special deals, peak season reservations) may be non-refundable
• Cancellation policies may vary depending on the hotel, transport, or service provider
